Furniture, clothes, home decor and more!!!
I'm playing a song here in a very old hardware store that's been here since 1934. It was started way back then by Mr. Sid Dudley and his two sons Morris and John. And currently my friend Frank Baldwin and myself and Steve and Sean. We've been running the store here for a few years and this next tune is a special commemorative song to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the hardware store and it'simply called This Old Store. Back in 1934 they opened Dudley's hardware store. A place to buy some screws and nails, hammer's chisels, mox and pegs. Sid and Morris and Johnny too. They tell you what you need to do. Sell your things, make to help you and help you along your way. Years go by and we move on. I wonder where the time has gone. Thank you for the life you give to me. You are a place where I can be. The person I was meant to be. Working on a part of history. Through the years of good and bad. Happy times and sometimes sad. Through the great depression and war. You're Holding steady, holding new. Breeding all who come in through your door. Years go by and we move on. I wonder where the time has gone. Thank you for the life you give to me. You are a place where I can be. The person I was meant to be. Working on a part of history. For many years and more to be. This old store's been a home of me. Helping people for a long time. And a home of me. Helping people fix things right. From burning mornin' into the night. Mending walls and leaky pipes. Changing locks and burnin' out lights. Cuttin' glass and mixin' in Douglas paint. Years go by and we move on. I wonder where the time has gone. Thank you for the life you give to me. You are a place where I can be. The person I was meant to be. Working on a part of history. Working on a part of history.
