But generally I'm singing all the time. Since I was born, I've been singing. It's been a passion of mine since I was a little girl and hence the name. I've always aspired to having some kind of a store. I just didn't know what the fit would be. And over many, many years with my mom and friends, we used to have these massive garage sales, linen, clean on tables, everyt And we did t We launched the business four years ago. We're coming up to our fourth year anniversary actually very soon. We had a very small store to begin with, around 1700 square feet. When were there for two years, it was very successful. We decided that we needed to grow and we needed to grow in such a way that we could take more furniture. Here we have a total of about 13,500 square feet of retail space. T We've got all kinds of t Across the parking lot, however, lots more furniture, primarily furniture, bigger mirrors, bigger home accessories. Over there, the tables are clear. You walk in and you see all the surfaces. We're able to take more upholstered goods as well, couches, sofas, accent chairs, more dining room tables. So that's the difference between the two. But it combined about 13,500 square feet. Consignment is a big word but it's very simple. You bring an item to the store. It's evaluated and priced by the owner. It's put out on the floor. It's here for a certain period of time. When the item sells, the profits are shared between the consigner and the store. That's how consignment works. Here at the Singing Lady, it's a 90-day term. So it comes in at the first 30 days. It's held at that price. At that 31st day, it goes down. It takes a markdown of 15%. And then on the 60th day of the term, it takes another 10% markdown. Every single tag we have in the store has that information on it. So it has a description, a size, and maybe possibly repurposing methods here. We Sometimes these comments about the item. And then the three prices are on every tag. The first price, the first markdown price, and the last markdown price. Here we're sitting at a fabulous. You would t Chrome Arbricht, it'such a good seller, and t Just look from table to table. Everyone is set differently in a different theme of C It's fabulous. I have a fabulous merchandiser. She is so good at what she does. We get tons and tons of compliments about the way the stores look. A lot of stores pride themselves on their stuff, and I certainly do hear my team is very good. They love what we have, and they love selling it. It's easy to get to us. We are at 781 the Queensway.
