Hello everybody, welcome to The Shabby Shack. I'll need 28 clothespins total. I'll be using brown. You can paint them any color you want. This is what I did. And I've got a piece of white foam award for the head. My glue gun. Okay, I've got 22 pins painted brown, 6 pins painted white. I drew out of eagle head on white paper. And now I'm going to cut it out on the foam board. And that should give me a foam pattern. That's close enough for me. Okay, I'm going to set these to the side. I need 7 pins painted brown. And I'm going to glue them together back to the back just I'm going to set them down, mash them down, and let them dry. I'm going to set these out of the way. Now I need 15 half pins. This will make one half of the wings. And they're all facing the same direction. Glue them together. Squeeze them at the end so they flare open. Let it dry. I'm going to do sets of two. Okay, and once them's dry, I put them in sets of four and glue them together. And again, lay them flat and squeeze them together on the ends. Okay, now then I'm going to glue all these together just And if you don't mind, please share the video for me. I appreciate it. It helps a whole lot. Okay, there's one half of the wing and, blam, Here's the other half. Now for my 7 pins that's glued together. I'm going to play with the pattern here a little bit. I didn't All four of those and then glue the other half the same way. And there's the main body. Now to draw my head. I'm not an artist. You could probably do a lot better than me. This is just for demonstrations. This did turn out pretty cute. Okay, I'm going to glue the head on. This is real easy if you let everything dry in between steps. Okay, now then I'm going to lay that to the side. I'm going to start the tail feathers. I have six pins painted white. There's the pattern. You can pause it or screenshot it. I'm going to glue them together one at a time. Squeeze them together and lay them flat. Let it dry and then just keep going. Okay, there's the tail feathers. I'm going to slide it up into the body And where the brown pins curve, I'm going to put a little hot glue. Then I'm going to try to center it and push it up in there. Keeping everything laid flat. Okay, now for my leftover three pins, I'm going to center the first two on the body and try to go halfway down the body and part of the way down on the tail feathers. That'll keep it all together. And I put mine in the shadow box with Plexiglass. Hope you give this a try. Thank you for coming to the Shabby Shack. Let me know in the comments if you want to see more videos And we will see you on the next one. You have a good day.
