When it comes to decorating your home, don't you want to be spot on trend? But here'something else you want to do. You want to save yourself some money. Can you do both? You absolutely can. I am at the Lost and Found Resale Interiors with owner Jill Cooper. One of my favorite things to do, Jill, is to come into your store because every single time I do, I see something new. Absolutely. What often do you change over your consignments? Every day we get new stuff in. Sometimes it's just a few items and sometimes it's a truck full, two truck fulls. But we're talking about huge savings when somebody walks into your store. We're talking everything from floor to ceiling when it comes to decorating your home. But you're also very picky about some of the items that you bring in. Why is that? I just want the store to have a different feel. It's a resale store, but it's not a thrift store by any means. Everything I need it to smell great, look great. We have a picky clientele who wants us to look at it first. We don't want to come in and have to do the work. So we do the work for them. So you've made it so easy for us to come in because a lot of people right now, the holidays are around the corner. If you think, oh my gosh, I need some items, some family coming in, things Absolutely. And furniture. What you should do if you love it. Oh, you have to do. Yeah, and sometimes furniture as well. If we have a delivery that's open with one of our delivery companies, you can take the furniture home as well. Okay. All right. Let's talk about the furniture. In this particular setting, we want to talk about what's trending. And I said before, oh, You will. Yeah, people are actually. So what's trending are textures, pops of color. They still You can see we have some natural fibers in our pillows, accessories, bedroom sets that are Rattan and wicker are in style right now. All on this beautiful leather sofa, by the way, which looks brand spanking new. Now if you look at the shape of it, you think, okay, this is, Yeah. And it looks And so were able to, since it's a sectional, these little sections come out, we're able to pull those out and make it look completely different. So you have the option. It all comes together. Absolutely. Also, you've created scenarios as you walk through the store. You can see all different little vignettes that you've put together, which will kind of give people an idea of what they can do at home. This is a beautiful contemporary piece right here. I love this table. Yeah. The table base is beautiful. It's a good contemporary look right now. It's what's trending right now. If somebody wants to go a little more modern contemporary. All right. So another scenario when you walk in of you're wondering what's trending, what you've done, Jill has put all of these different scenarios together so people can get an idea of what's trending. So this setting over here, gray is a very popular color. Can't go wrong with that. Right. And people still love that. They don't want to get rid of it. They don't want to change out the grays right now. So you can take that gray. You can put in some natural fibers that we're talking about and you can put in some pops of color. Yes. Matter of fact, we did that for a segment one time where we had a just plain sofa. I don't want to say plain, but tone on tone. Just added a few extra pillows and completely changed the look. Completely changed the look in probably about five minutes. All right. And then real quickly, if somebody's watching, maybe sometimes we want to clear out some things for the holidays. To consign with you, what do you prefer people do? They email us photos of their items with any descriptions they have, age, condition, brands. And then we look it over on email and we reply to them and let them know if we think it'something we can sell for them. Okay. So you're not going to take it. I think you can sell it. We really aren't. And people are really good about that. Like, We know what sells in this area. And so we're picky based on what our clientele is. Yeah, absolutely. All right.
