Euro Treasures Antiques is a family owned antique store in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have been in the antique business here in Salt Lake for 36 years, and have been importing containers of English and Continental antiques for over 30 years. We have a unique collection of English, Belgian, French, and American Furniture, as well as art, stained glass, and collectibles from all over, including a large collection of West African art. I'm Scott Evans. I was born here in Salt Lake City. The first antique I ever sold, I was driving down the street and saw t I stopped, asked, ten bucks, and I had learned how to refinish when I was a little kid. And my sister needed a dresser for some reason, and I t Well, I was up doing a carpet job. I saw these guys in their 50s getting off the elevator, and they were all hunched over, holding their buckets of tools, and I came home to Teresa and I said, I am done. I'm going to go into the antique business. So I decided that's what I was going to do. She said, you're crazy. You've got to be rich to be in the antique business. I said, you watch me. I'll be the biggest antique dealer in Utah. Antiques have a soul. You know, just gained some perspective of what people went through to build it when they had to sail on a ship to go all the way, halfway around the world, to get l It brings us closer to those ancestors and those people that came before us, that have left us such a wonderful heritage that we're, as a starting point for us. That's what I find interesting. Just, have a little bit of reverence and respect for what you're looking at. The dad won't see me go from the homies on and off.
