What makes Copenhagen really unique is I think the proximity. Everything is close to one another. It feels very sort of I think it's a safe zone for many people who live here. Copenhagen is a big part of our life. A place with so much life. I think we really enjoy living right in the middle of the city. Hi, my name is Cecilia. I am the CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week. I'm Jacob and I'm an entrepreneur. Welcome to our home here in Copenhagen. We've been living here for about two years with our two daughters and our son as well as our dog, Bowie. I think our interior style reflects very much the love for certain pieces. So we have the white walls and the light floors. And I think for us that sort of allows for a blank canvas to have some of the unique pieces stand out a little more. And the art of course as well. I think what inspires me the most in my home is actually the sense of space and light. That really energizes me. I think our interior is very kind of playful. It's maybe not the typical Scandinavian living vibe. It's not I think it reflects very much our personalities. We are drawn to I think also our impulses. That there's It's a mix of putting two lives together and making a family. When we moved in we tore down basically all the walls. Sometimes I wonder how it's even possible for the house to stand. I think it was about again creating that togetherness for the family. So if you're in the kitchen you still know what's happening in the living room. So I think it's a lot of little environments in one space. This is our kitchen where I normally make our morning coffee. And you make our breakfast and our lunch and our dinner. He takes good care of us. Cheers. I want to show you these two little penguins. We bought them in Buenos Aires when we traveled for the first time together. I don'think we've even been boyfriend and girlfriend yet. This one went into your suitcase and this one went into my suitcase going home. And they lived a separate life for a few months until we then decided to move together. And the little penguins are now together for what the 15th year in a row. This is our living room. I'm so happy about this new couch that will finally allow our family to sort of be together in one big pile at the same time. This specific part of the couch is one that we have all deemed our favorite part because, Because we can look out into the garden. Music is something that has played a big role both in my life and in Jacob's life. We have a lot of focus in our family of trying to minimize screen time. So vinyls for us is definitely a means to do that. So this is a part of our big collection of vinyls that we love to listen to whenever we find the time. So this is our dining space. We have a round table. The furniture designer is my grandmother's brother. So for me and Jacob, it meant a lot to bring it into our home as well. Plus we enjoy the round table for, It's a super important asset to create a very intimate and a hygge atmosphere, which us Danes so much enjoy. We did want to keep one room where you're actually able to close the door. So we made this lounge slash work office space. It's a great place to sit and actually be able to fully concentrate. So while outside in the big open space, it's all about being together. In here, of course, sometimes you do need to take a call. You do need to do some emails and this is a perfect room to just get away and have that focus. Scandinavian living to me, I think it's a way of living where you allow life to unfold. Where you embrace the kids and the chaos around you. The really nice family moment is of course when we're all home from school and work and Jacob is making dinner for all of us while we are either, A little bit chaotic, but all, I really love that. Live beautiful. It's a sense of togetherness and a sense of belonging. A sense of, The cool thing is the house or your apartment is It sounds crazy, but we miss each other so much when we are apart. And I think we only feel complete when we're together. Super cheesy, yes, but it's true.
