Old Market Furniture

Custom designed furniture and cabinetry utilizing New, Reclaimed/ Salvaged pieces in various finishes

ABOUT US Located in historic St. Martinville, Louisiana, in the heart of Acadiana, Old Market Furniture, LLC was established by Brendon Lanerie in 2015. Brendon’s grandmother, Margot Harris Delahoussaye, was a well-known local artist who was taught by her father Bert Harris, a native of Ontario-Wallaceburg, Canada. This deep rooted love of art and design was passed down to the next generation. After years of designing and building furniture as a hobby, Brendon wanted to share this love of art and craftsmanship and cater to customers in the tradition of Southern hospitality. Thus, Old Market Furniture, LLC was born. OUR PRODUCTS Inspired by southern classics and contemporary furniture, Old Market Furniture, LLC builds quality, custom-designed pieces which will endure the test of time. We use a variety of materials and techniques to create our designs. New, salvaged, and reclaimed wood and materials are used, observing the use of traditional joinery such as mortise and tenon and dovetailing as well as modern techniques. At Old Market Furniture we custom build an endless array of items including dining tables, coffee tables, end tables, sofa tables, consoles, gun cabinets, hutches, and more. We also produce smaller items that are perfect for indoor/outdoor entertaining, cooking and gifts. We build crawfish tables, coasters, wooden ice chests, cutting boards and more. We take pride in all of our products, and it shows! DESIGN PROCESS Here at Old Market Furniture, we know it can often be difficult to find the right piece of furniture for a particular space. Building custom designed pieces from scratch allows our customers to find the perfect furniture for their space. Our job is to make the whole process as stress free as possible. Our initial consultation gives us an opportunity to find out what type of piece you are looking for, what functions it should have and what type of finish should be applied. The design may come from an inspiration piece, photograph found online, your own design, or a design from our designer. Our next step is production, and sample finishes along the way, final approval then delivery or pickup. We work patiently with you because we understand you have reached out to us because of the difficulty of finding the right furniture in today’s market. Brendon Lanerie - OWNER
