Today we have such a special treat and I cannot wait to show you. We are here in beautiful San Clemente. We are gonna showcase some of the most extraordinary ways to create a California casual home. So you're gonna stay to the end. There's about 10 nuggets you're gonna get to put into your home. So let's go check it out. So there'so many t But just the entrance coming in is such a beautiful way to enter into your home. The doors, the mirrors, the stairs, all of the accents that have been done and created in the moment you walk in here, you don't know we have an amazing 10 foot open door area here. And we have an amazing 14 foot open door area over here w You don't know whether you're in the ocean or the pool, that's how amazing t Most of you that are looking at t When you have a spot or a location that they do, being able to sit at t All the designers on t So one of the ways to create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience is doing pocket doors. So t Now that we're entering the outdoor space, we have an ocean right in front of us, an amazing infinity edge pool. We have a nice sunken, casual dining area. We also have t And these are t So let's go check out t We wanted to have a sunken area just to create a little bit more definition of t And we have an amazing bar right here. It's roughly around eight feet. The best part about t So now you have people sitting, having communication. We're always talking about when you're designing your outdoor space. You want to be able to create spaces that you can have people having great conversation. T And when you're outside in t When you're out here wanting to enjoy your kitchen, we got a beautiful blaze barbecue grill. The best part is, is that t And so I love that. So many homes we come back and tour and you look at the grill and they're just not ever used. So the fact that they're using it means that t You always got to have a space for trash. Having a sink if you can is definitely a luxury for outside. T I've never seen that outside. Surprise the cameraman. Obviously having your favorite drink on draft is easy way to enjoy your outdoor space. T So when you're building your outdoor kitchen, being covered is a really important piece. It allows you to put the t Having the ability to have an open and close area, w It's a full can and lever option and has the ability to open and close the roof to get a little bit more airflow or to get a little bit more natural light for heat or to let some of the smoke out or just to sit back and just feel T So we added another pocket door to give you the indoor outdoor experience or we call it California casual, w If you could see t When you're creating a space, adding a pocket door just frames the area so well. So we The other they have the ability to come out, enjoy they're only here for a couple of days, so give them the best spot. So here's another area where we blended the indoor outdoor living with two additional pocket doors. So we have one that slides in here and another one that slides in here. A lot of people will just have the house all the way out to here and But adding the second pocket door creates such a nice open feel. And so the chairs, if you notice, are actually facing out. So it's actually meant to be indoor outdoor. It's not even really meant to be indoor, even though it is indoor. And that's the whole point of designing your house, doing a California casual lifestyle or a California casual design, is that you're literally gonna have these doors open every single day when you're at home. And when you're sitting in this space and getting this amazing ocean view, you would never know that they had so many hurdles to j So here's the backside of the pool or show some of the accents that they created. T Most of the time when you get be T We added sound, we added succulents, we added lighting. So just a nice soft accent to make t We have a massive infinity edge pool. We had 60 foot deep caissons that And at the end of the day, they came up with the best option w And part of the reason why you see the pool as it kind of comes around, there's a specific angle or So we had to be 15 feet setback from the canyon and the canyon kind of curved in, w And so there's obviously so many setbacks and so many issues when you're coming to designing or building your home, but take some of the t So when you're designing your space, definitely tie in an infinity edge option, but get creative with it.
