Welcome to Brass Beds of Virginia. We hope you'll enjoy your brief tour of our factory. Our beds begin with the finest brass, iron and steel. Our unique interlocking frame system is securely welded in place on each of our iron beds. Parts of the bed are assembled one piece at a time by hand. Many of our bed styles require bent parts which we pull by hand around custom patterns. Every casting on our iron beds is hand poured. The pouring section, each bed is ground carefully to ensure a smooth finish on each casting. This is going on. The rails that connect the head and foot are carefully prepared. Next the beds are sent to our deep last booth where they're prepared for finishing. The powder coat finish is applied to the entire bed after which it'sent to the ovens to cure. After the beds come out of the oven some hand finishes are applied when a premi Now it's time for each bed to be set up individually. If an iron bed has brass accents these parts are carefully polished by hand. Brass beds are also polished and assembled. Finally each bed is carefully packaged and boxed for shipping.
