The Galleria Raleigh

It'something I did a lot growing up and now it's coming back to Central PA and more specifically Johnstown. Located inside the Galleria Mall, the goal is to help with revitalization while giving kids a place to go and have fun. Our Courtney Murphy brings us more. While it's an empty space now, in a few months this will be a roller skating rink called the Glow Roller. After doing a social media poll, the owner received an overwhelming response. The amount of support that we've got and the amount of people who've seen it, shared it, it was just astronomical. So we're People can skate in a 7,000 square foot area. Additionally, there will be a concession stand, arcade games and a DJ booth. Our vision here basically was to give the community something back. The community here is just amazing. We always seem to come together in times of need and the community loves to give back to what we have here. So that's kind of my vision is to give back to the youth here, as well as the adults. The Hope is that it brings in families and youth with its originality and affordable pricing. It brings all the kids to play and parents too because the kids, they have to come and drive with the parents. So the parents, at the same time, they can wait for the kids. You can do the shopping. So this is most important. So We're planning on doing a $6 skate admission here, which is really good for families. So if you have a family of $6, it's $36. Other places you go, you really can't go for less than $100. So that's kind of what we wanted to target. We want this to be an outreach for the kids and be an affordable option for the kids and the families.
