Have you ever wondered how your countertops turn from a slab into the shape sitting on your cabinets? There are five major steps that we take to make your countertops. Let's dive in and discuss those steps. The first step of the countertop fabrication process is laser measuring. In this step we use a laser templating system to make a digital drawing of your countertops and backsplash. Then we send this drawing to a computer for future use. The next step is to photograph the slabs. This requires moving slabs to bring to a green screen and this has to be done very carefully and attentively to ensure safety. With our high definition camera we'll take a picture of each slab to use for the digital layout. After we have the digital drawing and the slab photos ready we can move on to the CAD and layout step. This is where we'll take the measurements and turn them into a digital layout of your countertops which we will send to you through your email. After your approval we'll create another file to send to the CNC machines for cutting. Once that step is complete we'll bring in the slabs that you chose and put them on the CNC machine tables. The operator will then begin the program and ensure that everything is running smoothly. The final step before installation is polishing and inspection. For the polishing step we use both the machine from park industries called Titan and hand polishers who will inspect and perfect the stone.
