Village Merchants is your local giving tree of stuff. All merchandise has either been bought, sold, or traded from our neighbors and friends here in Portland. At Village we sell everything from pots and pans, books and picture frames, furniture of all sizes makes and models, clothing, kids items, to karaoke machines, Hookahs, and Handcuffs; if you can think of it, we've sold it. When trying to think of what styles you might find at Village Merchants imagine... Mod 60's Pucci prints meshed with the dipple dapple of Renoir, Mod Podged with the art nouveau ladies of Mucha, blended with the practical Lazy Boy cool, oh, and there are birds on lots of things too. Do you want to make money while you shop? We accept quality items on consignment (40% and 50% for items priced over $50), for in store credit (40%), or for straight up cash (30%). A drop-off is one grocery sized bag Mon-Sat or make an appointment to bring in more. Village Merchants is a community store that strives to provide a fun shopping experience while not breaking the bank because very once in a while we all need a little shopping therapy.
