With a limited budget, my entrepreneurial spirit has led me to build this studio in my own space. As with anything, you have to start somewhere. Being a graphic designer for 15 years, this is definitely a different experience. I'm not one to back down from a challenge just because I'm using Tom that it's hard work. That's one of the benefits of getting your hands dirty. It's a little bit more challenging, but the payoff is also a little bit greater in the end. I'll start by sketching a few designs that I may have had. I've always been very interested in design, whether it be anything from vehicles to large graphics, architectural design. Going to the garage, cut out some wood. I'll usually know what I'making beforehand, whether it be a sink or a table, something A typical day is cutting a lot of wood, building a lot of fiberglass forms, and mixing a lot of concrete and getting dirty and loving it along the way. With technology comes new ways of production. I've been really interested in seeing how items such as concrete have developed over the years. There'so much more form to this inanimate object. It's piqued my interest and really got me excited about trying this new medi It is very tough to master and only few in my mind have really been able to do that. For myself, everything I do, obviously, I'm doing it to the best of my ability, and I want the pieces that I'm creating to be timeless design, amazing quality. I'm not going to sell a piece of half-ass art to somebody that I'm not willing to put in my own house. Once I put that stamp of my approval on it, then it's definitely a slabhouse piece of concrete.
