Hey all, t So what exactly is a vignette? In terms of decorating, a vignette is really just a small group of objects that you have in different places around your home, tables, etc. And some say that it should tell a story. And today I want to share with you a few simple rules and an easy formula to have great vignettes. So the first t You want to use very heights and a good formula that people try and do is either an A shape or a triangle or pyramid shape. So I'm going to show you a couple examples around my home. T You kind of want to stagger your items where there's a tall, medi The next thing to consider is n Odd n So if you can try and decorate vignettes in three or five. A great example of t If you have a collection to do those in groups of three or five. I think going in bigger n But most of the time, and just to be simple about it, sticking to three works well, especially for nightstands, end tables, stuff that you put on your mantle or entryway table. Stick with three and you should be good to go. So the next t And I say texture, but I really mean mixing color and texture and just visual interest. So having a variety of visual texture is going to create interest in your vignette. Finally, t It's light, life, and love. So light is going to be a lamp. It's probably going to be your biggest piece and what you're going to anchor the rest of your items around. Life is going to be an item that brings life to that area. So a real plant, a faux plant, a wood piece, a really beautiful bamboo bowl, or a wooden sculpture that's going to be your life. And then finally love somet T It could be a small trinket or a statue that really speaks to you or your home or your family and tells the story of you.
