Here at Key Home Furnishings, we have n One great thing about down is the coziness, the comfort, and also that kind of inviting feel when it comes to your furniture. We really love knowing that it's a natural material and that you can take your time, you can dive into it, and you can really enjoy it on a day to day basis. One thing about down that you really have to understand is it will take a little bit of maintenance. On a day to day basis or over time, you will just get a certain routine to kind of make down look comfortable. Simply slapping it, shaking it, making it move, flipping the cushion, that will keep your sofa chair, whatever the case may be, looking great, looking in shape and ready for the next sitting. One thing you will have to look for when it comes to a down sofa or down chair is sometimes you'll find a few feathers leaking through the fabric. The one thing I always recommend in regards to a fabric is picking a nice, durable, strong, and tightly woven fabric around the outside of a down wrap cushion so at least you have the opportunity to retain those feathers on the inside. Not everyone's going to love down. Not every room needs a down sofa or chair. So it's a little bit more of our particular request within the store. Your down sofa and down chairs will typically be a little bit more oversized, a little bit deeper, and a little bit more cozy. So if you have some elderly people in the home, a little bit more difficult for them to get in and out of this sofa, it might not be the direction for you.
