Hello, I'm Sophie Claire and These are designed to push me out of my comfort zone and try new things. So the first one is to make a quilt from the book. So Liberty makes quite a few quilts in the book and I'm going to try the Chevron quilt which is orange, black and white. I have made quilts before but I prefer to sew by hand so making this on the machine is definitely going to be a challenge for me. I'm going to do a mini version of the one she makes. I've had a little practice and it didn't go very well as you can see so I'm going to have to be really careful, really accurate with my measuring and cutting but I'll have a go.
