Welcome to our first video from my home concierge. My name is Austin and I am joined here today from Janice at Camelot Materials. Janice, Tell us a little bit about Camelot. Thanks so much Austin. So Camelot Materials, we are a company that specializes in custom window coverings. We work with home builders and homeowners and also carry a line of commercial products. Fantastic. Well, tell us a little bit about some things that are common, maybe misconceptions in your industry and the type of things you do. So one of the things we hear a lot is that going to the DIY route either through an online retailer or a box store retailer is easier, it's more convenient and it's a whole lot less expensive. And this could be true but also there are some things to consider in that. And so the n So we're going to do all the research on what you We're going to come to you with the products that are going to function best in your home. Also, that will look great, which is obviously very convenient. And then we take care of everything else. The measuring, installation, the service, the follow-up, the warranty work, it's all built together in one big package. So using convenience, sometimes your time is worth money, right? So we The other thing about money is that a less expensive product isn't always better. Of course. Products that are made with high quality materials tend to break down less. They are also backed by new great warranties. So if something does go wrong, you're going to have a service department and a warranty that's going to help you get that fixed. Absolutely. And I think that goes without saying in any industry that quality often beats price, I think nine times out of ten. Yeah. And we have clients who, So, Absolutely. And in that respect, tell us a little bit about maybe something that would make it easier for clients to work with you. Maybe that'some things they can do to prepare or maybe some tips that they can take home and do themselves. Yeah. So one of the biggest things we suggest that people do is have a little bit of forethought when it comes to undercovering. So if you're building a home, waiting until the day you take possession to start thinking about it, it's a little bit late because it could take you a month to six weeks to be able to find a product and get it in and have it installed. So if you start thinking about that process maybe six weeks prior to possession at your home or somewhere at the beginning of a renovation product, it makes the whole service just work a little bit smoother and make sure you get a product when you need it so that you're not living in a fish bowl for. . . Who knows how long. That makes a whole sense. Well Janice, thank you very much for having us.
