Can you tell us about why you got into the furniture business? Yeah, after spending about 20 years working for the major retailers across the country and seeing the markups that they put in their furniture, Pamelaera decided to try to help the general public a little bit more by offering them quality furnis That's great. Well, so how long have you been here in Mesa? We've been in Mesa five years now. It's been a really good experience and the city's been really good to us, and we hope that we've been really good for the city as well. Can you tell me a little bit about that? Well, we have set prices pretty much. 1,500 items are less or $99 or less every day. Now, James, Tell us a little bit more about your experience. Well, I started out working in a warehouse doing the physical labor, and then also helping customers at the same time. So the first job I had, you did all of the grunt work, so to speak, and then also you were expected to go be a salesperson as well. That wasn't really a good structure for me because you get dirty and sweaty and you're out there trying to sell furniture. Then moving on to the suit and tie the more I did it, the more I saw that they would mark the stuff up just ridiculous amounts of money so that all of the corporate executives and the shareholders and stuff can get their fair share and decided that we can do it better and a lot less expensive than the way that they do it now. So tell us a little bit about your website and what we can expect to find there. Well, the website has about 99% of the items that we have in the store, and there's actually other items on the website that you wouldn't find in the store. And it's a really helpful tool to our customers. They can go online at 99dfs. com and sort of preview what they're going to see in the store and see if we have what they want. They can call in and see if we have it in stock and if they can have it delivered and assembled and all kinds of good stuff prior to coming into the store. So it's a very helpful tool. Well, it's great. Yeah, I can see everyt That's great. Well, how do you choose the furniture for your store? Well, we're constantly getting inundated with sales calls and sales people and emails, newsletters, things And we look at the items, we look at the structural integrity of it, and then we see if it's viable and that if we can retail it to the public for $99 or less, you know, still be able to stay in business selling it, obviously, and give to people a deal on something that would normally retail for three and four times the amount that we would sell it for and still be structurally sound for the cons Wow. So I heard Can you tell me a little bit about that? We do. It's a very simple program. It's $10 to start. The money can be used towards any item in the store. People can put there's no extra fees or charges to change your mind about that's great. Well, what about assembly and delivery options? We have both. We do. We kind of don't have set days. We deliver at customer's conveniences because, And then we'll assemble anyt There is a slight fee for assembly because, Everyt That's great. It sounds Another one of the great things about the store is that after a couple of years, we've had so many customers asking us for items that we obviously can't retail for $99 or less So we now have a complete line of home furnis And even if it's not $99, we're still a whole lot cheaper than all the other furniture stores.
