My name is Heidi Hamill and I am a fiber artist. I upcycle wool sweaters, so I'm reclaiming materials, making hats and mittens. My work is inspired by two primary values. One is the judicious use of the earth's resources. I'm very concerned about the environment. I'm a lifelong recycler. I'm committed to the reasonable use of resources on earth because they're not infinite. They are finite and all of us make a difference. I also believe that there should be joy and beauty in daily life. I make functional art as opposed to hang on the wall art because I want to share with you beauty every day.
