For an arts community to thrive, gallery space is absolutely essential. So the opening of a new commission-free gallery in Port Elberne is garnering a lot of attention. As a picture framing company, we see more and more artists coming to get their stuff framed with us. And there seems to be a need, another outlet for them to showcase. And so we made it a little easier for them and we don'take any commissions from them. Therefore it's affordable for more artists and since we are on Johnston Road, we get quite a lot of tourists and so the exposure is great. In a small town So with another place opening up, it just opens up more avenues for the artist Has a lot to do with marketing and branding. Artists need to be able to brand their name. That's why we're here to help market. We give them the tools to do it. They have such an open mind and they kind of the new L7 Gallery is only one part of a larger explosion of the arts community in Port Elberney. It's always been here. It's just getting, there's more of a profile happening, more exposure happening and people are starting to realize that it's already been here.
