Some good news, big lots fans. Some of the previously shuttered stores are going to reopen soon. Variety Wholesalers has announced its plans to reopen 55 stores in a dozen states and that starts on May 1st. T Additional stores will continue to reopen through June. The company says they plan on opening 219 locations when it's all said and done. Variety Wholesalers acquired hundreds of big lot stores after the chain was sold to Gordon Brothers retail partners after its bankruptcy filing last year.
