Accent Prone

I'm Justin Lingafelt and this is my wife Sherry and we're AccentPrem. We're located in Curnersville in the Target Shopping Center in the strip center that has the subway and the Loop Pizza Grill. We are open Monday through Friday, 10 to 7 and Saturday 10 to 6. We've been in business for a little over a year. We opened June 1st of 2012, so that makes 15, 16 months for that. We opened the business because we both grew up having parents who own their own businesses, so we watched that for a long time and knew that was something that we wanted. We both went to school for entrepreneurship and we have design backgrounds, worked in the furniture market for a long time. My dad's a jeweler and it was just something that we're very passionate about. We love jewelry, home decor, anything fashion, so we thought it would be fun to start this. One of my favorite parts about the job is just being able to interact with customers on a day to day basis, helping them find that right piece for their rent that they're working on spursing up and then also just seeing the new products come in every day. It's cool to see. What I love about my job is being able to again interact with our customers. We met so many great people over the year and I love fashion, I love home decor, so every day seeing new pieces of jewelry come in, seeing new pieces of furniture and being able to help people design their bedroom or pick out an outfit for themselves. Our customers can expect to see a new store every time they come in. We get shipments in weekly and it's always a new store and always something current they're going to see. A little bit about our products are that Henthane Accent Prone, everything we carry is an accent. It can be home or fashion accents. For the home accents we have accent furniture, accessories, lamps, home decor and kind of everything in between as in style. We have rustic contemporary, traditional and again from A to Z, a little bit of everything. In terms of the fashion accents that we have here at Accent Prone, we have everything from your fashion, more cost So everything from something a little funky to something a little more traditional. My dad Terry Bull used to own C. Eliot and Company in Winston for 20 years. So he knows a ton about jewelry and he's a great mentor. He's taught us all about owning a business and he's really helped us and I get a great start here. So a little something else about our store is everything in here is furniture market samples. So it's all brand new stuff. It's just set in a showroom for a week or so during market. And by buying market samples, we're getting really good deals in the pieces and we're able to pass those savings along to our customers. Everything in here is wholesale so we leave the wholesale tags on the pieces and so it's all wholesale and below. If you're at all needing any design help in your home, Justin and I both have a lot of experience, So if you want to bring in some pictures of your space and measurements, we can walk you around the store, show you some pieces that might work and help you do a kind of in-home consultation right here in our store. We recently just knocked out the wall to the space beside of us so now we have double the square footage here. We have just about double the inventory so come check it out. There's always something new and fun to look at. Well, Forsythe Woman is a great magazine and we tend to think that the readers of Forsythe Magazine are also have the same demographics as our customers here at AccentPro. Forsythe Woman has been such a great magazine for us. Every single month people look for the magazine. They want to know who's going to be on the cover, who's advertising in it and weekend and week out we have a new customer coming to us saying that they saw us in Forsythe Woman magazine and they end up loving our store telling other people about it. So Forsythe Woman has been such a great asset to our company. Highly recommend Forsythe Woman to just about any business. What it's done for our business is really mind blowing. And also We're constantly uploading pictures of the new inventory we're bringing in daily as well as always running contests and sales and that kind of thing on there as well. I'm Sherry.
