The phoenix is a mythological bird that is constantly reborn. Like the phoenix, our furniture has been given new life, it’s materials originally discarded by those who couldn’t see its true value. But scrap lumber is indeed valuable – it took lots of energy to cut down, mill, and transport lumber, it doesn’t deserve to waste away in a landfill.
