The developer comes to us, it's very important that we understand what their needs are, what their budget is, to use our experience and our creativity to bring their projects to life. Our job as an architect is to facilitate their ideas and their desires and create and design a project that will ultimately benefit them. When I first opened the firm in 2003, one of the first projects around the gate was an apartment project. From that I met the general contractor who referred me to some other developers and ten years later we're known as one of the largest multi-family architects in the world. We feel it's very important to keep the client involved during all aspects of the project, whether it's regular meetings beforehand during the design process, whether it's meetings with the engineers, whether it's meetings on site, we're always accessible, always there for our client and our client understands that they can come to us anytime they need. There'steps along the way to make sure we're on the right track and ultimately when the plans are completed and we get the building permit we're involved to help assist during construction to make sure that the project is built in the vision that our client had. The work in relationship I have with my team is I think un Involve my staff in big decision-making. It's very important for me to have that environment because I want everyone to collaborate with each other with me. We all feel free to offer our input and offer ideas and as an open office we get to communicate and offer these ideas to each other without any restrictions.
