As designer for the 2008 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home, my goal was to implement a design that was conducive to family entertaining w In choosing the furniture for the Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home, I wanted to stay in scale with the arc The main living quarters, I wanted to bring the ceilings down, creating a warmer, cozier atmosphere by doing a tortoise faux finish on the ceiling insets. The openness of the dining room, the grandness of the great room, I needed pieces that would exemplify yet not overpower these spaces.
