I've always had an interest in building or fixing various things, from an early age. As a young girl I was afforded a great opportunity to be on job sites frequently, learn to use basic tools and was provided a valuable education into the basics of building and woodworking. I used to work part time in the summers doing various work for a local home builder, where I was able to learn a lot on the job as well as from experienced woodworkers and carpenters. As I got older I started to seek out using items in a different manner than their initial intended use. There are so many useful objects that get tossed into landfills, scrap or recycle yards. While I'm a huge proponent of recycling, I try to incorporate various pieces into functional projects rather than simply discarding or recycling them. I love the idea of making useful designs while incorporating vintage, industrial and architectural salvage. I currently work as a Safety Director and build in my spare time. I work safely, efficiently and am dedicated to providing a unique piece for you and your family to enjoy.
