Some call it a sickness, some an obsession and yes, they may be right. I call it my passion. A passion for taking others unwanted junk or well-loved pieces and giving them a second chance and a new home. My work includes yard sale finds, auction bargains and yes, side of the road treasures (my favorites, of course).This is the idea behind The Attic Fanatic. While on vacation from my corporate gig, I've had time to put together this page to... I'll say it, "show off" some of my latest creations. Nothing fancy here; just a mom, wife and professional traveler's hobby gone wild. A hobby that is taking over my weekends, half of my weekly sleep and literally, my garage. But, I do it because I love it. It relaxes my racing mind and keeps the creative juices flowing. My little guy has even gotten into the chaos of painting and sanding furniture which gives us another task to do together. Take a few minutes to check out my before and after pics. Get inspired because although you may all say, I don't have time to repaint that desk, dresser, chair, sideboard, vanity, I'll give it away! You do, and it's not as hard as you think. Hey, happy Tuesday everyone. It's Doris Edwards here attic Fanatic Loft, 1121 Augusta Street in West Col Come on by and check out our vendor booths here. We did a lot of work over the weekend with our overflow furniture and so I wanted to pop in today and show you what we've got here in the loft. Skis the table there on its side. We've got a little work to do on that. But I wanted to show you some of the furniture that we have here attic Fanatic Loft. Now we do have some furniture coming in to the consignment shop next door that's actually being housed here because we've just got so much. But we did a lot of work this weekend organizing the space so here we are today showcasing it. We still got a little more work to do but we think it looks pretty good. Got a lot of goodies in here at very good prices. We have some vendors in here and then we have some overflow furniture from Attic Fanatic next door which is our consignment shop. Still have space here for vendors if you're interested. It would be great for a work room, a dorm, just really nice, very mobile, very lightweight but very, very sturdy.
