It's a pleasure to be here. I am Paul Speller, Secretary General of the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture. An intergovernmental organization that was created in the year 1949, is dedicated to education, science and culture. We are 66 years of experience in our dear Ibero-American, the Secretary General is in Madrid, and we are present in all the countries where the Portuguese Castle is open, in all Latin America, in the Caribbean and in the Ibero Peninsula. We call it the project of educational goals for the year of the Bicentenarians in Latin America, in 2021. These are goals that are about basic education in general, but with a very important role, equally for higher education, which is precisely where the whole team, the whole team, is involved in education. We are goals that have been achieved from a work that has been carried out by the Ministry of Education, with the presence of the civil society, of non-governmental organizations, in the s Regarding the evolution and follow-up of the goals, and for this we created the IESME, the Institute of Evaluation and Follow-up of the goals. The project that is carried out in an articulated way in all the countries, we have the basis of this program in our national office of Paraguay, in the ass I would also It is a space that we created so that in the network, the group of higher education institutions in the region can be articulated and can act jointly between themselves and all countries. In this sense, we have carried out a program that is located in the center of other university studies, the CAEL, that responds to specific points that come from other countries. These are the most important infrastructures in the field of science that are set up or are sought to make available to all of America from the program of goodwill, of students, of grade students, of post-graduate students, of researchers, of professors. This is being prepared at this moment so that in the next year we can work together in the meeting, in the s The importance of academic mobility, which we have already carried out in the OAS since the year 2000 with three or four programs, such as academic mobility, teacher mobility, the Pablo Neruda, but I want to mention, above all, a new program that we are starting at this moment. The program, Paulo Freire, is a program that is carried out for professor students. It is very common to see mobility programs in other areas, but for professor students that is really an innovation. Paulo Freire is a beautiful example of an effort that the OAS puts in and articulately with other American-led organizations to allow us to start this year. We are starting in 2015 with the first 500 or 600 mobility programs. We are looking for, over the next few years, to carry out something close to the end, or maybe even go over it. Right, Rebeca? Right? Rebeca Greenspan, who launched us last January, and we have passed the 200,000 mobility programs. We are talking about the infrastructure of schools, and that is an extremely important aspect. Apart from training the teachers, we need to take care of the conditions. Today we have almost 70,000 schools in Latin America and in the Caribbean, where there is still no electricity. And for that, we develop a very important and very significant project called LUCIS para aprender. What does LUCIS mean? Precisely, we are looking to take electricity through solar panels to these isolated schools, away from them. And for that, we have developed a project for two or three years that already carries electricity to schools. And when it comes to solar energy, we also carry the internet. Along with the internet, we carry the opportunity to access a multitude of information projects, of knowledge that were previously not accessible. The school actually ends up in these places because it turns into a community center. Because the entire community provides the school for night classes, especially for airfabrication programs, for community meetings, for health programs, and for so many other important communities in these isolated communities. Well, I would And as I am remembering now, that AAUI is a bilingual organization where the Portuguese and the Spanish language are always present at each moment. AAUI is a non-American heritage, but more and more is present in the entire globe. Where the Portuguese speaks and where the Spanish speaks. The world of hiberophony. Thank you very much. Thank you.
