About 7. 33 last night, our emergency call center received multiple calls for shots that had just occurred outside the target in Germantown. First responders found an adult female victim laying on the parking lot surface. She was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. There were multiple witnesses there. They provided officers with a good look out for the vehicle. About 10 minutes later, officers found that vehicle still being operated by the suspect in the northern part of the county. There was about a 25 minute pursuit and ended with a defendant crashing his truck off Route 28 near Black Rock Road in the Darnstown area. He was injured in that crash and was transported to a local hospital where he remains under guard under the strength of a warrant charging him with first degree murder.
