Music We had thought a little bit about opening a small gift shop in town and where you were walking the streets to see what buildings were available. And Donnie and Robin Beard own Southwest Trading Company at the time and pretty much that was the only building available and now you see that it's much more than a gift shop. We're also known as the Bayer Store as we have bears of all sizes in here. One of our best selling products is our 1700s reclaimed barnwood furniture. Probably 75 to 80% are made here in the USA. We do have our Mexican line where we get our Southwest Trading Company name from and have some things made in Canada but all that is still North America but almost all the rest of it's made in the US. One of our newest items is the granary collection in the furniture and it comes from an 1800s elevator granary. This granary elevators were in Wisconsin and it took a couple thousand people two years to build them. They're the largest in the world and because of that you have this unique texture and patina I guess you would call it that you're not going to find. It can't be mimicked by something done in a factory somewhere. We're not just a furniture store. Keep in mind that we carry all kinds of souvenirs and accessories for your home. We have placemats and such for your table top. We even sell little nightgowns for visitors from out of town. We have socks, we have flaming rocks, we have rugs, we have pictures for your wall, candles, a lot of different varieties of jar candles and pillar candles. A lot of different home decor needs that will suit any pocketbook from $10 to We have two floors of furniture, quilts, lamps and accessories to look through. We also have our outdoor center which is located across the street from the main store. This is our outdoor section of Southwest Trading. This is made by the Amish. We've been carrying this for 15 years. What sets ours apart is what we carry is made by the guy who invented it. You won't see any of the hardware as to where all the other ones you see are the hardware or the screws. They actually have a process that's a UV process of dyeing the plastic that's dyed all the way through so it's impossible for it to fade. It comes with a 20 year warranty which in the time that we've sold it we've never had one issue.
