You can see it in your head, right? That furniture piece that you've been shopping for. But that's the problem. It's only in your head. Nobody seems to have what you're looking for in just the right size, just the right style, with just the right finish. But that's OK. Because if you can imagine it, we found someone who can probably build it inside Mary Janes. Let me guess. You've driven by 100 times, but you've never actually gone inside Mary Janes. Don't feel bad. They get that a lot. We have family and friends up in Illinois, and we drove past for years and never came in. Pop in sometime, and you will be blown away by this American-made solid wood furniture, much of it Amish built. They skip the fancy full-room displays here. That keeps prices down, and allows room for even more furniture. But sometimes you just can't find exactly what you're looking for. That's where Mary Janes' husband, Don, comes in. Tell him what you need, and he'll find a way to build it. My grandfather had me in the shop and let me do anything I wanted with any tool I wanted when I was five, six years old. It all starts with a conversation with the customer. Well, I listen to what they have to say very closely, and then I start thinking about things that will work for them. Lauren and Betsy Schrank were looking for something that you would never find on a showroom floor, an enormous dining room table. We told him what we wanted, and he thought it was pretty big. Right now, we're back here in the wood shop at Mary Janes. The customers are out in the store. They have yet to see the completed table, but it is ready to go, all 20-plus feet of it. We've covered it up, and we'ready for the grand unveiling. Oh, my. Oh, good. What a work of art. It's perfect. Just love his workmanship. You can hardly see the seams. It's just fantastic. Done. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. This table was part of the plan. Betsy and Lauren just built a new home, making certain that the blueprints offered enough space for this titanic table. And it's eight leaves. But why? We have four children, 16 grandchildren, so there's 26 in our family. I cannot wait to see our family sitting around this table. Is this one of the bigger dining room tables you've ever made? It's probably about the biggest one. If you take all the leaves out, you got a whole bunch of wood that you got to put somewhere. And you came up with a clever solution for that, for these customers. Well, this particular customer wanted a case or something to put it in and roll it into their closet. This is what I came up with. He actually went to a house and measured for the storage unit. Who'd ever think that was on wheels? He made it work. He made our dream come true.
