The company name originally was a nick name (Champ) given to Mr.Champion by his fellow firemen and jokingly the locker he was working out of was referred to as "Champ's Clock Shop". That was a long time ago. We think the key to our company growth is a result of giving our customers what they really want when purchasing a clock. Thank you. Well, you recognize t Yep, right there. It's been keeping drivers around Hertzfield, Jackson Atlanta International Airport on schedule for the past decade. But now the clock has a new home, one that couldn't be more appropriate. Good day, Atlantis. Paul Milligan joined us live t So Paul, where did the clock end up? Okay, So if you want to see it now, you have to drive out to Douglasville and the world famous Champs Clock Shop, one of our favorite places. You've seen it here on Good Day Atlanta before. But here's a tip. If you really want to appreciate the size of the clock, you have to see it from above. And that's why we took along the Sky Fox drone for an aerial view. Champs Clock Shop in Douglasville is already home to an eye popping, ear shattering collection of more than 800 clocks. But owner Jeff Champion's latest get is way too big for the walls here. In fact, it'so big, you really need to see it from up here. It doesn't look so large when you're standing right in front of it. But when you get above it and look down, you find out that you're miniscule. If you recognize t It kept travelers on schedule for years at Hertzfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport. And it's the icon. If you want to get off on Camp Creek Parkway, where do I turn? Oh, there's that clock. That's where we turn right there. My friend of mine named Kenny Wright calls me up. He's a clock. He's a clock customer. Well, it's going to stay there at Champs Clock Shop. Champion says he wants to make it somet He says it really isn't So he's probably going to recess it back in the ground, put it in a garden setting and let people come and check it out.
