Most of what I've been working on is new or reconditioned farmhouse-style furniture and lighting. Mainly tables, benches, barstools, footstools, chandeliers, pendants, and crates. I also have collected some cool old farm/garden implements, antique tools, windows, mirrors, buckets, ceramics, and metal signs. Things that make me think of the way things used to be around Iowa and are reminders of simpler days. We also stencil on reclaimed wooden boards, paint on glass windows, and general repurposing of old household goods. I have no idea how much of this will interest other people, but I find it kind of relaxing and a good way to be constructive with my leisure time and teach our boys about handling tools safely.
