Welcome to this gym mirror installation video from Fab Glass and Mirror. To install a gym mirror, you will need the following tools. Drill driver, level, tape measure, screwdriver, hammer, lead pencil, hardware included per your order. To get started, remove packaging from your gym mirror. Place the piece of cardboard against the mirror at the wall. Place the styrofoam sheet on the floor for additional protection as you install your gym mirror. Clean the wall where you will be installing the mirror. Failure to do so may prevent the glue from curing properly. Determine where you want to place the mirror and then use a tape measure and pencil to draw a straight line from the floor for mirror positioning. Hold the J-bar in place on the wall just above the marks you just made. Use a level while you make four marks in a line with a pencil to show where to match them up. Drill four holes in the wall at the wall marks. Insert each of the four easy anchors into the holes. Move the J-bar to line up its four holes with the four easy anchors and hold it securely in place. Place four screws through the holes and drive them in. Insert the rubber strips into the J-bar, positioning them in the middle so that they are about one fourth of the distance from either side of the J-bar. Pick up the mirror and slowly maneuver it into place inside the J-bar. Position the round mirror clips and then draw two marks. Drill holes in the marks you made at the top of the mirror. Slowly and cautiously pull the mirror from the J-bar, lifting and then pulling it outward toward you. Spread mirror glue to create an area measuring three-quarter inch by two-third inch on the back of the mirror. Carefully angle the mirror as you insert it into the J-bar. Screw the mirror clips into the two anchors you placed on the wall. Fix the caps on the mirror clips. Congratulations! You have finished installing your new gym mirror.
