We design and build custom furniture from reclaimed materials. We also restore salvaged items that we 'pick' ourselves and turn them into unique furniture pieces with a cool industrial or rustic theme. Well January is new use month in Ohio. That means finding new ways to use old things. The state business awareness campaign is highlighting companies throughout the state that create new goods out of recyclable material. Among those being recognized by the secretary of state is an Oakley business called Rustic Refinery. The company reclaims old wood and industrial metal and turns it into furniture. Each piece is unique and handcrafted. The wood used in many of the pieces is more than 100 years old. I'm going to brag about my colleague here who does a remarkable work turning some of the old furniture into brand new pieces.
