My name is Oneida Mejia, owner of OMB Corco. I am here today at Casona Home Furnishing, a place that is very close to my heart and to my professional trajectory. I would love to tell you how this store originated. I started decorating at Casona during its origin in 1996. I remember back then all the excitement we would feel every time we received a 52 foot long truck of furniture from Mexico filled with pieces by artists from different parts of the country. Many unique eclectic and beautiful pieces. Later on we started doing different imports from many other parts of the world. At one time we had three stores in different parts of Chicago until we finally found the perfect neighborhood and their Sunville. And we decided to consolidate into one store. We have continued to evolve transitioning styles from more rustic traditional looks to where we are now with a more modern mid-century flair always keeping the focus on the needs and wants of our clientele. That is why Casona is blessed with loyal customers that have been buying in the store for a very long time and have helped grow our business through word of mouth. 18 years later for sure Casona has come a long way. Always proud of the quality of its products and its dedication for the quality of customer service it provides. I am very happy to be part of the Casona family for this long.
