Hi, my name is Jane Morgan and I'm a Chartered Physiotherapist and I'd A few years ago I had a light bulb moment, I was treating a lady who worked in an office, she had neck pain, she did really well with her treatment and for a discharge I was saying you need to do these exercises, you need to do this activity and this will stop this pain from coming back again and I thought this is what everybody needs but not only that everybody should have this information before they get pain so that they don't need to have that office induced pain which is very common. So this is when I started to develop Positive Posture and what Positive Posture does it teaches you how to find your own personal good posture which is always pain free, it then teaches you how to set up your chair and your workstation to match you in your good posture. That is not enough to be pain free because movement is very important in an office. So we have posture body which is a download that appears once or twice an hour in the corner of your screen and when you see posture body it always means come back to your good posture but it might also mean now's the time to do some of your pain prevention office exercises and these are very simple exercises that have a real benefit to office workers. They will help to improve your posture, they will increase your range of movement and they're very good for your circulation as well. So in addition to the posture body there are other resources as well that can be found within the e-learning system and they will help you how to sit in your car and there's another section the two minute tension release which will give you extra information when you're working very intensely such as say inputting data and there's a really good section called how to treat yourself. So if somebody was working really hard and they won't do any of the pain prevention activity that I asked them to do they would probably get pain but this resource will help them how to nip that pain in the bud basically how to treat themselves and then of course they've got to get back onto the pain prevention activity which will stop that pain from coming in the first place. So that is positive posture in a nutshell but actually there are more resources in there that an office worker would find particularly helpful. Thank you.
