Furniture For Change is a full service furniture retail store whose sole purpose is to provide a vocational training opportunity that focuses on practical skills as related to the furniture industry. Students in recovery are given the opportunity to learn retail skills at our FFC store. 100% of the profits go to job training and life restoration at New Life For Youth. We help men and women who lack the job skills to gain employment as a result of addiction or abuse. FFC builds self-esteem and character, while empowering these young people to believe in themselves. We focus on teaching students how to perform the tasks that would be required of them in the workforce in various fields such as retail management, maintenance, delivery, pricing, design and display. FFC has created partnerships with local retail stores who then hire the student upon graduation. FFC also donates furniture to individuals in need. In our repair shop, furniture that is received through donations are repaired, painted, and reupholstered and priced reasonably at our store.
