Music Hello again. In t Anywhere that you have a light or a narrow space that you would Some of the items that you need for t We have three different ribbons in three different widths to add interest and impact and softness. We have a variety of ornaments and also some sprays to add a little bit of movement and finish off our design. Now to start with we have a five foot green re teardrop. These are available in two different lengths actually there's a 32 inch length for the smaller projects but for really large dramatic impact go for the five foot you won't be sorry. The first t Also the same as you do with a wreath you're going to start with a shorter tail one side and gather that in. Do your half twist the same as you see in our treason trends bow tying video. Gather your half twist, make your loop, gather half twist and make your t Now whereas you might have found the greenery to be a little short in tying for a wreath with a teardrop as you can see you've got long lengths to tie t So you want to tuck that in all the way to the back take two pieces and twist once to anchor that in. Bring your short tail out here to the side let that drape bring your long side over to the right hand and just let that hang for the time being. Start with your next widest width and repeat your tail. Make your three loops and of course t Again gather make your half twist and your t Again pull the short tail over to the left and let it hang. Bring your longer lengths to the other side and you'ready for your final ribbon w Practice makes perfect so don't get frustrated you can always start over if you need to on your bow. Once you've got that tied in get your loops all spread out as your loops get larger you may even have to use both hands to spread them. Now on the right hand side because of the length you want to tear down and get movement going with your ribbon. So on your widest come down maybe halfway to where you gather as far as your length because you're going to raise that a little once you've gathered it. So gather your wide one gather your next width and maybe have that on the outside on the right and your narrow one gather that to the left. Always gather them separately because then your ribbons will lay apart not one on top of each other and then just lift slightly so that there'some drape pull into that middle and tie the greenery around just Then move lower until your oh 12 to 15 inches from the bottom of the point repeat just Again don't pull tight but t Now you'ready to trim the ends. Again t Our wider one as I've mentioned before I personally I just find that to be a little more interesting and of course the mesh always cut straight so that you have the least amount of ability for it to ravel. Do the same t Again mesh cut straight. Now you can let the bottom come down as low as you want. It depends on the amount of space that you personally have so you can decide but err on the side of caution. You can always cut longer first and once you have it in the place you really want then you can always trim shorter but once you cut it off of course you can't glue back on. Your narrowest ribbon cut a little bit shorter than the wider so that you've got layering going on. You don't want everyt Now ribbon work is complete. The next t Always choose larger rather than go smaller for the impact. Now t So I'm using my hot glue again and just spreading some on the back with a wooden spoon. Of course if you're using a glue gun you can just run a line along. Now where you attached your ribbon in that's where you want the candy cane to grow across because you don't want to mash your ribbon in where it's not tied already. Now I can also take in some cases and just do a twist. Now you can do that temporarily until the piece is really settled in and the glue is hardened or you can actually leave it that way if you've got ornaments going in and Now my loop that I showed you just to help with the weight a bit I'm going to tie that in. That's especially helpful also if you've got a Now then see in t So now I'm going to trim my tails on t Okay there we go. Next I'moving back up to the bow area and we'll work on adding weight there and to do that we'll use our basket of ornaments. So I'm going to start with a green ornament. I'm going to move my glue pan over a little closer so I can just dip that in there and right in here in between my loops I'm going to tuck that piece in and notice it's on angle. I'm not doing straight up and down and I'm going to take a red, dip it in the glue and on the slide angle right in here in the middle. Place that and then one of the flat discs with the brighter colors and the w Of course I chose t I want to play up those colors as well as the texture difference. And that I'm going to tuck over here between one of my mesh loops and my ribbon. Let that stick out to the side. Now that's given me a good weight and focal point for my eye when I look at the piece and then start to travel down. Now for my secondary weight w Okay now that the glue has hardened and these are in place you'ready to move on down to the lower portion and for those we're going to pull t You want to help pull the eye across and get the flow of the design. You don't want just all the focus to be in one spot and the rest to not make sense. You've got to have continuity. So I'm going to use the green ball again and come down to where my ribbon is attached in the lower t Now once again once your glue is hardened then we'ready for the final pieces. We're going to use these ball sprays w So dip our stem in the glue and we're going to start at the upper left of the piece. We're going to tuck that in right be Again notice t Now we're going to create a little secondary movement going on since t If it were the smaller teardrop you might be able to get away with just t So we're going to drop down and just a little bit forward and tuck in another one and to the right we're going to move in a little more toward the center under t We can bring t Okay, right under that lip. Again use the wire in your ribbon so that you can fluff the bow back out. Now then we've got the movement going there and then we just need a final piece to help bring that airiness and again design of the piece down toward the bottom and connect. So we're just going to tuck that right underneath the other ornaments and that's going to be able to hang almost straight down to spread it out a little. Don't continue that firework effect that we've got going up here also shooting out the bottom of your piece and now you have your completed teardrop and it's ready to hang. Just imagine how good t
