Mile Marker 3

So in 1990 I graduated from high school so that was also the year that I started at Texas Tech and I applied mostly to Texas schools a few outside but my folks wanted me to stay in Texas and Lubbock is as far as way from Waco as you can get and still be in the border of Texas so that's where I chose to go. Kind of a lucky thing. I think if I would have moved to Austin and been with my brother and went to school there I would have been in his shadow the whole time and Lubbock I just kind of got to be myself. I met all the friends that changed my life. Cory Moro stands out above most of them just because we played music together all the time down there. That's where I met my wife. Basically I owe everything I had to those years back there in Lubbock. So early on my freshman year at Texas Tech I had an electric guitar that I got Yamaha bright red. I was going to be a rocker kind of guy but then ended up It's an electric So my freshman year I traded in that electric guitar and got an acoustic a Yamaha acoustic guitar and I spent my entire first I don't know year and a half learning of school learning how to play that guitar. I played I lived in Coleman Hall and I would sit in the basement where the laundromat was so that I wouldn't But that's where it all I go man no way dude you got to stay in you got to get your degree what if this doesn't pan out and he's And I'll be dang if you didn't go down to Austin and make But I sure it felt
