All Beloit Mattress Company sleep systems are hand-crafted one at a time using only the finest materials, providing you with a good nights sleep for many years to come. The quality of our foams really separates us from the major manufactures. We use higher density foams throughout our product line to give you longer lasting comfort. All of our standard polyfoams are CertiPUR certified. Our time-tested construction methods, and innovative product design are your assurance of unsurpassed quality. We have enhanced many of our products with “green” components to make the beds healthier, more comfortable, durable, and better for the environment. We offer several beds with fabrics like Cotton, Organic Cotton, or Bamboo, one of the worlds most sustainable resources. We use pure Joma Wool in the quilts of several beds to add comfort and help regulate temperature. We offer natural Latex foam on many of our sleep systems. Latex foam is made from the sap of a rubber tree, not crude oil like conventional foam. The consumer products safety commission now requires all mattresses meet the 1632 cigarette & the 1633 open flame standard. Many manufactures use chemically treated fibers to meet this standard. We chose cotton & rayon, a fiber made from natural materials, no fugitive FR chemicals. Cotton/rayon blend is the fire barrier in all of our sleep system, not just the premium models.

Have you heard the term factory direct? Well, you probably have. In fact, it's an overused term. We are sitting here today at the Beloit Mattress Company, we're going to learn a little bit about why. And as promised, we've got Ryan Poppy, who's joining us here, president, to share with us a little bit of information. Thanks for having us today. You're welcome. So were talking a little bit on the break about how fascinating t Hang tight. We're going to get to that in just a minute. First, though, I want to learn a little bit of It's been quite a journey. Yeah. Beloit Mattress started in Beloit here back in 1929. And my family purchased the company in 1954 when the other family wanted to retire. And my great grandparents and my grandparents were partners for some years. My great grandparents retired. My grandparents ran it for several years. Until they retired. My parents ran it. And until they retired, and now my brother, my wife, and I run the company. Right through the family tree there for us. I love it. I love to see that when those companies just stay in the family for generations. And you just know that the passion is there and the experience. I love to see that. So you help your customers find the best fitting mattress. How do you do that? I see lots around here. Do we just kind of lie down and see what works? Well, one of the advantages to being factory direct is we know every part of the mattress is inside and out. So when you come into the store, you're going to talk to somebody that actually builds the mattress and knows everyt We don't have dedicated salespeople. We have people that build mattresses. And when somebody walks in the front door, we drop what we're doing, we come out and we talk to you. And so when we ask you questions about how you sleep and what problems you're having, the gears are turning in the head as to, okay, so t And other stores are somewhat trained on that, but messages get diluted as you go through, And Here, a lot of times you're talking to not only people that build the mattresses, but actually engineer them and build them. That'so interesting to me because almost every other place that you're going to walk in has a sales staff that they have trained to learn about mattresses. Here you have someone that knows everyt That'so important. What is also important is what I alluded to in the intro here is how different a truly factory direct mattress store is. And so to give that comparison, let'see how Beloit Mattress Company compares to something The biggest difference is they don't actually build their own mattresses. They do have some private labels where they contract factories and stuff to build some stuff under their names, but they don't actually own a factory or anything In fact, most of the big brands don't own their own factories. They're simply companies that design and market mattresses and then they contract with another factory to build them and contract with a logistics company to take them to a warehouse who then are sold by somebody So you have so many people that need to make money on that one transaction that it drives the price of the mattress up considerably. When you buy a mattress from us, we build it and take it right to you. We don't have, we don't have subcontract delivery. Everyt Oftentimes the mattress that's delivered to you was built either that morning or the day before. It's a very fresh product. That's an incredible t What were discussing on the break, I wish we had more time for our segment because it's truly a fascinating process is to your point, how many people in the pie need to make a profit on that mattress? Now here you are, literally, Stacy and I were back there earlier taking a tour of people making mattresses right here in t And what a huge cost savings that is to you, our viewers and your customers in process. It'so eye-opening to t It is the store. You can see everyt So I'm wondering now, what kind of delivery you offer? How far, what range do So we deliver, I mean we can really s They bring it in and take care of you. But wit So pretty much anywhere in the state of Wisconsin we deliver and take it on our own trucks. We offer several options as far as delivery. I mean, I know COVID is starting to wind down a little bit, but for people who are real concerned, we have options where we can just do a no-contact delivery. We can put the mattress on your front porch and your garage and take your old one away from you if you have it sitting there for you. We can do that. If you prefer our guys that come in, of course we're all masked up. We sanitize ahead of time and everyt We'll come in, we'll take your mattress right off your bed, we'll put the new one on, dispose of and recycle the old one for you. So you really don't have to do anyt That's incredible. We're a wider range of area than I expected, quite frankly. So we've learned a little bit about cost savings and what kinds of benefits that brings, of course, to the cons What about after delivery? Is there any sort of guarantee that we can take advantage of? Absolutely. Of course, we fully warrant our products depending on we have full, non-proyaded warranties ranging from one year to 15 years. We also have a one-year comfort assurance policy. So if you get a mattress and you're not happy with it, we have a factory. We can bring it back in here. How convenient. We'll take it apart and we'll change it to however you need. You just come in and say, I want it made Many components are interchangeable. We'll simply bring it back in, change it and make it right for you. Wow. Well, thank you for demystifying that process for us a bit. That was really eye-opening and important. We're going to be here for some more segments down the road. I have a feeling we're going to learn a lot from you, Ryan. Thanks so much for having us today. Thank you. You're welcome. Again, Ryan Poppy is with the Beloit Mattress Company, World's Compton Women. We'll be back next.
