Court allowed me to design my dream guitar. So I've been touring and playing for over 30 years, and I have some pretty specific ideas what exactly makes a great guitar. I'm gonna bring all that expertise to you. This isn't my first court guitar. In the early 2000s, this court and I designed the NZS-1 and NZS-2, which was wildly popular. So when we designed the Infinite, we built on that history. So I wanted a guitar that spoke to the simplicity of playing guitar and playing music. I've had guitars with all the bells and whistles and beautiful exotic woods and all these different specifications and details, but it was just too complex. It was just too much. I literally wanted to strip it all down and build a race car. So to achieve that simplicity, that immediate connection that the guitarist has with his guitar, it starts with even the overall look. So We have only essential controls with a three-way switch, as well as one vol Even down to a nice simple stop-tail piece through the body, it's just very essential controls so that the player can get right to playing and not be distracted by anything else. We're going to talk about many features of the Infinite, but to me, the most important thing I want to start with is the neck. And as a player, what the neck feels And if the guitar feels good, it plays good. I can go into a music store and there'll be a line of guitars and I can just feel the neck moving down the line and I can tell what guitar is going to be the right one for me. This neck feels nice. It's a fast neck. It's thin, but it has some body to it, which is nice. It gives some support. Also, it goes into what I believe is one of the most important features, which is the neck through construction. But what'so great about that? Well, first of all, it's a very good neck. Well, first of all, everything is one piece. So when you hit a note, everything vibrates as one. It's not separated. There's no two different components that are trying to connect. I can feel the whole guitar just vibrate and resonate. So. . . And as crazy as that sounds, when I'm holding a chord or playing a lead and I feel the actual guitar responding to what I'm playing, it's inspirational. A few more things about the neck. We have roasted maple fingerboard, as well as the neck itself. Five piece construction with walnut and roasted maple. You'll notice the big, strong inlays that are really great to see when you're on stage. Also, we have l So, of course, you never have an excuse not to play the correct note on stage. Also, locking tuners. I knew I needed to find the perfect pickup for this guitar, and I auditioned a bunch of different brands, a bunch of different models. They were all good, but nothing hit me until I tried the Fishman Fluence pickups. It hit me There's an immediacy to the pickup. There's a punch and an articulation that just cuts through everything. Love that when I'm playing rhythm stuff. You can hear the articulation and the definition of each individual note. It's punchy, but it's not mushed together where it sounds Also, while it gives you that definition, if I roll the vol Sometimes when I use a different amp, I don't want to be switching presets or channels. I want to do all the work in my essential controls here, and that means working the pickups, whether it's the neck or the bridge, or working that vol That's great, but the most important thing that really got me to realize this is the pickup I need in this guitar is the amount of sustain it has. In my style of playing, It's In that, I need sustain. One of the added bonuses with the Fishman Fluence Modern 3 pickups is they give you an added voice that you access by just pulling up this knob right here. So Voice 2 has more of a vintage El Nico sound to it. So let me walk you through the three positions. Let's go. I love that you have two voices to choose from, and that just makes the guitar more versatile and at the same time, very simple. That's the KX600 Infinite, available in orange crush and black. Hope you check it out.
