Buckhead Home Furnishings Boutique

Interior Philosophy store owners, Jessica and Mandy, are veterans of the fashion and home furnishings industries. Both worked as buyers for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York before relocating to Atlanta and Ballard Designs, where they were buyers for wall décor and accessories. They opened Interior Philosophy in September of 2007. The store is set up in room vignettes that showcase Jessica and Mandy’s design style, which led to many customers requesting in home design consultations. They do now offer in home design services where they put together furniture floor plans, select items from the store to fit within that plan and then select fabrics and accessories to finish things. Interior Philosophy carries furniture, custom upholstery, lighting, rugs, fabric, and accessories. Jessica and Mandy have made it their goal to be the one shop people can come for unique pieces and still find a broad selection of great looking products at sensible prices. The Interior Philosophy look consists of light wood furniture, linen fabrics, clean lines, interesting decorative objects, unique lamps and antique mirror accessories. The room vignettes in the store are designed to feel serene, light and airy, and never cluttered. They usually start with neutral upholstery that mixes different textures and then add color in the accents.
