Our mission is to financially contribute to the work that God is doing in the community through non-profit ministries & charities. We accept donations of household items and sell them to raise funding for non-profit charities and ministries. In our first year, we were blessed to be able to donate over $56,000.00 to our partnering charity/ministries to help others in Christ's name! PRAISE God, we opened our doors at store 1 on May 1, 2010 and four short months later on October 1, 2010, by God's grace, we were able to open store 2! Now we are celebrating our first year there! During tough economic times, entrepreneurs T Here's a story that starts with tough times, at a unique approach coupled with hard work, guided with a very large heart. And what you end up with is the Hope Store. Well, the Hope Store, the idea for the Hope Store got started because I had been in ministry for eight years and had gotten laid off because of the economy. And it occurred to me that other nonprofit ministries were probably having trouble too and charities in the area. And so I started checking around and sure enough, everybody was having trouble with fundraising right now. And so the idea be I have 14 different charities that I'm working with right now. We're booked all the way into next year with ministries that are really needing help. And so each month, a different charity gets 100% of the profits from the store. Folks in the area can help the Hope Store by going through your house and setting aside t We're open for donations all week long, every day but Sunday. We also need volunteers to help because the items might come in a big black trash bag that has grandma's purse and mom'shoes and some toys and a couple books in the top and then topped off with a VHS tape. So we need people that can sort those items out and organize them and bring them into the store. One thing that'so great about this particular location is that really just a few blocks from here, we have folks living at the poverty level or just above the poverty level and really needing to be able to get a good deal of their necessary items And also wit So it's a good blend in t
