We offer repair and restoration services for furniture and vintage tools but also produce one of a kind commissioned furniture with a focus on Shaker and Arts & Crafts styles. Much of our work is created the old way using vintage and modern hand tools, these are truly "hand made". We also believe in supporting the woodworking community that has helped us so most of our plans are contributed, at no cost, to the community.
I'm Sam Duncan, I'm the Director of Fundraising and Communications at Willowwood Hospice and I'm here today to support with the opening of our brand new charity shop here in Glossett. I'm Pauline Lunter and I'm the head of the hotel at Willowwood Hospice. And what are you doing here today? This is our new shop launch, we had the shop across the way and now we're moving to the next one. My name'stuart Gardner, I actually live in Sydney, Glossett by the name of the High Peak. And what are you doing here today? Well I've been asked to open the new shop which is absolutely fantastic, you have to say. Honestly I haven't moved too far from across the road but it's a much bigger, brighter premises, it's going to fit in out wonderfully. There's lots of hard work we've got into it and that needs to be great for our town. First of all we've done a brilliant job, we're already so much better, so much brighter, so much bigger than the old premises. We're going to really enjoy it, we're going to raise even more money for a fantastic cause as well. So I now officially pronounce the new Willowwood shop. Thank you. Why is it better than the old shop? It's a lot bigger, when you have a look around you'll see it's an absolutely amazing shop. The staff and volunteers here have worked so hard to deliver what looks And I'm really excited to open the door shortly to our customers in Gossett. Well that's good if you think so.
