40 years specializing in Antique Furniture, Hitchcock chairs, Lincoln & Bentwood Rockers, & Breur Chairs, and many other styles. We use the traditional seven-step hand-weave with natural cane. We also do hand-woven French caning; pressed cane; rush weaving using paper-twisted or natural twist-rush or Hong Kong grass. We can restore the 'old porch swing' or 'bench' using splint weaving using flat or oval reeds or ash splints. We replace Shaker tape, leather seats, and other types of chair/furniture weaving. Anywhere cane is used on a piece of furniture, we probably can repair/replace it. We also reweave lawn furniture with vinyl strapping or slings. We love to bring old favorite furniture pieces back to life and can do minor repairs and refinishing if needed. Ask us if we can fix it—and we will weave our magic!
