Shabby Love Affair is my passion. I sell very select pieces that I recreate from old into new shabby chic pieces and that I have put my labor of love into.
In 1989 I was inspired by Rachael Ashwell. The beauty and simplicity of the whites, off whites, pinks and roses, lots and lots of roses in pink. Her look spoke to my heart and soul. Her books are literally my shabby bible. Racheal led the way in defining the romantic, vintage decorating style with the love of chippy furniture. I have spent the last 20 years working towards having the same look in my home. I have been thru many pieces until I decide if its a keeper. Thru this process I have finally found my true calling. Painting and restoring pieces to be something that someone would love and adore for another 20,30-40 years. It is my passion to make things more beautiful! I do offer painting of your pieces too so if you have something that just doesn't fit your style anymore then possibly envision it in another color. Would you love it again? I try to keep my prices reasonable considering the time I put into each piece and I offer 30 day layaway on most pieces over $100.00. I also now can accept, cash credit or debit.
