Ciao amici, bentornati! Today I want to show you what is undoubtedly the most requested video ever. I will explain my finishing process to you. Let'start! Today is my leg day. Here's how it works. My finishing process is actually a three-phase process. First I have to prepare the finishing, then I have to apply it. And then I have to light it with a secondary mixture. So it can seem a bit complicated for those who do not have a family with finishing processes in the world of black magic. But I assure you that the use and application of this finishing are in reality very simple and incredibly tolerant. Here's why it's the only finishing I really use today. It is made out of very simple projects in which I can use a spray gun, I adore the feeling that from this finishing, its appearance, the lightness, smooth and blurry that I get from this finishing on all my projects. So, let me explain how to do it. Here are the three ingredients I use for my finishing. I have a retina of some kind. I have an oil that works as a dispersing agent and a diluent to allow the finishing to flow more uniformly and penetrate more deeply in the material itself. This is actually a one-to-one relationship, so I put all three in a jar and measure it with an eye about a third. It should not be perfect. If I really support one of these three materials, I will use the retina so that you develop that resistance to a little more quickly. I do not want to add too much. I have reached up to 50% of 2525. In reality it gives a little finish, too much plastic for my particular tastes. I mix everything in a jar, I shake it a little and I'm ready. I'm ready to be applied to my project. Here I have a cut from my box and we will apply the finishing. I have a small layer of cotton. I will immerse it directly in the jar and I will clean it. One of the things I love about this finishing is that it is not only easy to apply in more hands, but it is also easy to fix. This is something that can happen sometimes, especially with a box So let'say I have a small piece of glue here, on a film finish of various types, on a spray finish. It will be a big problem to remove it and then you will have variations in the gloss after the final hand. With this finish, the first hand is the one you can identify the glue stains. And if I have to scrape away, I have not acc So at this point, if I see some defects in the finish, I can scrape, scrape, repair and then I can go ahead and give another hand and it will not touch anything. Here's what I mean when I say that this finish is really very easy to use. Now I will apply just one hand and then I will leave it to act as usual all night. Usually I apply one hand a day. Once I have covered the piece, I will leave it simply aside and then I can go back tomorrow and give a second hand. Now, for the magic of cinema, we will pretend that two days have passed and that at this moment I have two finishing hands on my little piece of paper. The third hand, which is usually the last of this mix, I will apply it with abrasive cloth. Now, this is the Scotch-Britte Grigia of the 3M. It's fantastic, even the steel wool on four layers will work. It's a wonderful material, so, third hand finish. I take this and Immerse it directly here. Then I apply it So, eventually, tips, protuberances, small graffitis tips on that piece of wood will be leveraged by applying this abrasive cloth. And so you will obtain a really smooth and transparent finish on the top of your piece of wood. Beautiful! And that's all I would do if this was a finished piece. It would be done. I would put it aside and now it would be the time to hand the wax. So, let's talk about it. So, at this point in your project, you have three finishing hands on your project. It looks nice, but it's not completely smooth as the butter, right? It's a bit plastic, a bit uratani, so how do we make it look I'm so happy that you asked for it. This is when I passed this wax. So, the only difference between these two waxes is that I remove this and add this. This is a liberon wax. It doesn't have to be for the sake of liberon, but as far as I'm concerned, I think it produces the best wax on the market. I think they'really, really wonderful. You'll notice that it's also using liberon finishing oil. You can use a Danish oil that you find in big stores. There's nothing wrong with it. I've used it for years. This only tends to have a slightly higher quality of the film. I discovered that it contains some more plastic. So, to prepare this wax, I'll take some teaspoon of this compound and put it in a jar. Then I'll add about the same amount of tarp and oil. I'll mix everything. I often heat it in the bathroom to melt the wax and get a smooth consistency. But then I get a very thin wax that stands out And I can apply it again with my abrasive cloth, one of those bad products. At the moment, on this box I have three hands of my oil and urethane bowl. And I have a hand of my oil and wax bowl. So we'll only put one last hand of oil and wax to light it up and get that perfect glow that I'm looking for. Just below the level of satin. So, I have my bowl. I have my abrasive cloth. You can make small vortices, you can proceed along the grain. It's not really an abrasion of the material, but rather a flat surface that can be easily fixed. So, don'think too much, don't worry too much. I proceed both inside and outside. And now the main difference between this material and this wax is that once applied, it actually cleanses it away. It considers it more The thinner the layer is, the better the final glow. I don't know if you can already see that glow, but it's beautiful. So, once done, I'll put it on my little pyramid by Pittore. And, just to show what I was talking about earlier, that is, the ease of use of this finish, I had a small glue stick here, on the bottom of the lid. Because of the way these boxes are glued, it was quite evident when I opened it and applied the first hand of the finish. You can see some defects in that finish here on the bottom of the lid. No one, and all I did was remove that first hand until that glue stick went away and then reapplied it. And it's done, it's beautiful, no one will ever notice it. And that's all, it's just a situation of wax, wax removed, Mr. Miyagi. Now, I know it won't be easy to see the grain, but more than the grain, I just want you to see how smooth and silky the surface quality is. You see that imperfection and imperfection on that surface and it simply makes the color of that piece of silver wax stand out. Absolutely wonderful, here's why I love this finish. We have one thing about safety, one important thing about the safety we have to recognize. This finish is based on olive oil, olive oil, boiled olive oil, olive oil for the tongue. All the oils of this variety can and could burn spontaneously because during the season they heat up. If you have a whole piece of oil that is inflamed, soaked in a dip So, when you have finished using these strips, open them, hang them in a safe place, preferably outside, or put them in a bowl of steel spatula, tin or metal outside so that if they have to be lit, it won't damage your business. I just want to thank the uncle at the beginning of this video that was yelling on the phone that these strips can take fire spontaneously. Yes, I know, yes, I want to recognize it, so be careful, don't hang them somewhere. Here it is, friends, a simple and accessible finish to everyone, easy to use. And it'something I've been using for about 5 or 6 years now. Something I really perfected in the last 4, maybe. E. U. I used it for all kinds of fantastic results, from armadillettes for leather, heavy walls, sculpture, bar for leather, so it can be used for anything. It's a really resistant and easy to repair finish, and it has a nice look and a nice touch to the touch, so I encourage you to try it, to armadillette, to see what you can do, but I hope this was useful to you, I hope you learned something. And if you use it, let me know how it went in the comments below. I'm very curious, but for now, friends, it's time for me to dedicate myself to another project, so Music
