In 1947 J.W. McElhaney started McElhaney Upholstery in the family garage. J.W.’s only son, Kenneth joined the family business in 1972. After two additions to the garage, they moved the business to the current location on Highway 58. McElhaney Upholstery prides itself on personal relationships, integrity, excellence and quality craftsmanship. We believe the commitment to these principles is the reason McElhaney Upholstery has been so blessed to serve Chattanooga for nearly 70 years. The McElhaney family is pleased to announce Matthew McElhaney will continue the family tradition. As Kenneth moves into a part time role, Matthew will be the third generation to run the family business.
