Websters Interiors has been a family owned and operated business since 1920. The Hayes family has been beautifying Bakersfield interiors for over 65 years.
The greatest opportunities I see for revitalization in Webster is that we put a little bit more emphasis on our village area to make that more of a competitive advantage And I think that we need to really brand ourselves as a place that this is a great place to start a family. As you're young, you can live here. You might go off and explore the world a little bit, but you can come back here and continue. And it's good for families of all ages. Young families all the way through our senior community today. I think young professionals would be attracted to Webster if we had a little bit better downtown community environment for them. And I think we need to bring more business to Webster too. Use maybe the Xerox facilities to put more small businesses out there When we win, I think we should spend the money for revitalization in our village area to make a little bit more of a core community for us. And also I think we need to do better branding for Webster. We need to let people know in the community and outside the community what we have to offer. And it's an easy place to raise a family from early years all the way through senior years. And I think that people outside the community should be invited and welcome in to take advantage of some of our advantages.
